These terms ("Terms of Service") govern your use of the website testix.co.uk ("the Platform") provided by Testix, based in London, United Kingdom ("Testix", "we", "us").

By visiting or using the Platform you accept these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to the terms, you should leave the Platform immediately.

Testix is an independent comparison service that compiles, evaluates and presents product tests from independent test sources. The Platform offers:

• Test overviews — aggregated ratings and analyses based on external test results
• Price comparisons — up-to-date prices from online retailers via affiliate links
• Buying guides — editorially produced content to help with purchasing decisions
• Business solutions — advertising placements, API access and partnership programmes for commercial partners

You are entitled to use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree to:

• Not copy, reproduce or distribute material from the Platform without our written permission
• Not use automated software (bots, scraping tools) to extract information
• Not circumvent technical security mechanisms
• Not use the Platform for unlawful activity
• Not impersonate another person or mislead other users
• Not subject the Platform to abnormal load or attempt to disrupt its operation

Testix reserves the right to block or suspend users who breach these rules.

Companies registering with Testix enter into a separate agreement covering services such as advertising space, API access and affiliate partnerships.

As an account holder you are responsible for:

• Ensuring the information you provide at registration is accurate and kept up to date
• Keeping your login credentials confidential
• All activity carried out via your account

Testix may suspend or close a business account in the event of a breach, with reasonable notice unless the breach is of a serious nature.

All material on the Platform — including text, design, logos, icons, images, compilations and software — is protected by copyright and other intellectual property legislation.

Testix content Testix owns or holds licences for all editorial content, graphic design and data compilations. Use without our written permission is not permitted.

Third-party material Product images, pricing data and certain test information are sourced from external providers. Such material belongs to the respective rights holder.

Limited licence We grant you a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the Platform for personal use. This right terminates immediately upon breach of these Terms of Service.

The Platform contains affiliate links to external online retailers. This means Testix may receive a commission when you make a purchase via such a link, at no additional cost to you.

• Prices are fetched regularly from external data sources. We cannot guarantee that every price is correct at every moment.
• Stock availability may vary. We are not responsible for a particular product being available at the retailer.
• Affiliate links never influence which products are recommended or how they are rated. Our editorial work is entirely independent of commercial partnerships.

The Platform is provided "as is" without express or implied warranties.

• Test results are based on assessments from external test sources. We cannot guarantee that the information is error-free or exhaustive.
• Purchases are made by you as a consumer. Testix bears no liability for goods you acquire based on information on the Platform.
• External websites we link to are subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for the content or functionality of third-party sites.
• Service interruptions may occur. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Testix's aggregate liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid to us during the preceding twelve months, or GBP 100 if no payment has been made.

We handle personal data in accordance with our privacy policy and applicable data protection legislation (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018). By using the Platform you confirm that you have read the privacy policy.

Testix may revise these Terms of Service as needed. For significant changes, we will notify you by a prominent notice on the Platform at least 30 days in advance.

If you continue to use the Platform after the revised terms take effect, you are deemed to have accepted them. If you do not accept the changes, you should stop using the Platform.

You may stop using the Platform at any time. If you have a business account, you can request termination by contacting us.

Testix may terminate or restrict your access to the Platform in the event of a breach of these Terms of Service, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the breach.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property and limitation of liability) shall continue to apply.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising from these Terms of Service shall in the first instance be resolved through dialogue between the parties. If the parties cannot reach an agreement, the dispute shall be determined by the courts of England and Wales.

As a consumer you also have the right to refer a complaint to an approved alternative dispute resolution (ADR) provider or to the EU's Online Dispute Resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/odr). Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.
